I live in an area that was once farmland but it is fast devolving into high density houses and shops. The population is increasing by tens of thousands in just a few short years. Glorious old oaks are being uprooted daily and the landscape is changing so rapidly it’s difficult to remember what it even looked like in such a short period of time. It is all vanishing before our very eyes.
